It is the day after Thanksgiving and for the ump-teenth time I have now heard the B.C. Clark ad. For those of you who live in OKC, you know exactly what I am talking about. For those of you who don't, the YouTube video is posted below along with their website with EVERY single TV commercial version made (and other's personal experiences and need to hear this song). If you click on "History" you can see how they tried to change the song and the people kept it from happening!
"It is very possible that the B. C. Clark Christmas Jingle may be the longest continuously running jingle in the entire United States, and in January of 2001, it made its national television debut when actress Megan Mullally, an Oklahoma City native, sang the Jingle on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."

See for us Okies in OKC, this song simbolizes that Christmas is just around the corner. No more holidays to celebrate until then! Its always been kind of a tradition for my family that whenever its heard on the radio the first time on Thanksgiving or Christmas (and we are all together) we all sing along, knowing the words by heart! We may be nuts, but its a fun tradition that you soon realize you took advantage of when you no longer hear the commercial once every hour or two..
